ALL ENTRIES MUST BE AUTOMOTIVE TYPE ONLY. INCLUDES BICYCLES, MOTORCYCLES, TRUCKS, TRAILERS, CIVILI
EACH ENTRY MUST BE THE SOLE WORK OF THE ENTRANT, INCLUDING PAINT, DETAILING, AND ASSEMBLY
- DISPLAYS: Entries may be displayed on bases not to exceed 2-inches wider and 4- inches longer than the model. Entries displayed on larger bases, or depicting a scene, will be placed and judged only in Diorama Category B23.
- ELIGIBILITY: Entries removed from contest tables prior to the Awards Ceremony, without permission of the Head Judge, will not be judged or receive any awards.
- Entries in Box Stock Category B9 or Box Stock Plus Category B10 must be displayed with the complete instruction sheets for the models. In the event of disqualiÞcation, entry fees will not be refunded.
- Prior DSC winners will be displayed on the Display Only (B26) table and will not be eligible for judging or awards.
- INTEGRITY: Members of Cactus Car Modelers Club are not permitted to enter critically judged Categories (BY1, B2 through B26), but are eligible for B32 and Peoples Choice Master Award selections. Members of the judging staff who are not Cactus Car Modelers Club members may enter critically judged Categories but may not participate in judging the Categories in which they have Entries or Master Awards.
- RE-CATEGORIZATION or DISQUALIFICATION: The Head Judge and judging staff reserve the right to move Entries to different or more appropriate Categories, or to open additional Categories as needed.
- Decisions of the Head Judge and judging staff are final.
- REGISTRATION: Entries must be registered and all fees paid prior to being displayed on Contest Tables.
- SCALES:
All Entries 1/26 Scale or smaller in size will be placed only in Category B18,
Small Scale: All Entries in Categories B2 through B17 must be 1/24 or 1/25 Scale. All Entries 1/16 Scale through 1/23 Scale will be placed only in Category B19 Intermediate Scale. All Entries 1/15 Scale or larger in size will be placed only in Category B21 Large Scale.
Categories BY1, B21, B22, B23, B24, B25, B26, and B32 are open to any scale.
- STREET LEGAL DEFINITION: All Entries in a Category designated ‘Must be Street Legal’ shall have and clearly display all equipment a full sized (1:1) vehicle would be required to have in order to be operated legally on public streets, roads, and highways. Entries must have headlights and taillights, signals, windshields, windshield wipers, treaded tires, brakes, mufflers, and registration license plate(s) identifiable to a legitimate licensing agency – state, province or foreign nation.
- DOCUMENTATION: All entries in Box Stock Category B9, Box Stock Plus Category B10, and Modified Diecast Category B21 must be displayed with the documentation required or be subject to disqualification. Entry fees will not be refunded.
